A great result at this years event. Over 650 votes cast, Over £2,000 raised of which £350 has been sent to wateraid.

The overall winner was Russell Lower School, Second overall was Firs Lower and The Town Band finished third.

In the commercial class the winner was Party Mascots, Fairies n Frogs was second with Broadoak Management and Haymax sharing third.

Winner of Clubs and societies section was Town band, Ampthill Rotary Club was second and the Callendar girls in third place.

Well done everyone. Thank you for your brilliant entries and thanks to everyone who helped and supported the event.

Excellent first day! Loads of people. Lots of sticking and making going on. Glitter everywhere - brilliant!

Half of the trees are in and the other half will go up today. Church looks great already but it will look even better tomorrow when it will also smell of mulled wine and mince pies!

Great to see the first banner up above Country Properties! Forms for trees are still coming in so we should have a good display. 26 trees so far and hopefully more to come!

Lots of decorations made for the Tree in Progress - supporting Wateraid again this year- if you are coming to the festival PLEASE go to the Chapter House and make a decoration for the tree, it really needs you!

Town band sorted, Puppets sorted, Choir sorted, Story tellers sorted - I love it when a plan comes together!!

Welcome to Cakestand & Crumb, Ampthill Dance Studio, Ampthill Singers, Party Mascots and Broadoak Management.

Feels like we are really under way now. Tree bookings, donations and raffle prizes starting to come in. Loads to do but its getting exciting now!

Only a few invites left to go out and already recieved the first donation! Thank you Ampthill Cricket Club.

Lots of entertainment sorted now. Organ recitals, story tellers, Town Band and a choir, hopefully a puppet show too.

Another load of trick or treaters - it really must be getting close to Christmas-  what a busy evening!

Phew! Invites nearly all done and ready to go out, forms uploaded and ready to go. Still loads to do but it feels good to have made a start!
